Murer Consultants' experience in program design is exceeded
by none. Murer coined the term and concept of a "medical day hospital"
in the late 1980s, and it continues to be used routinely in healthcare today.
Since its inception in 1984, the company has been a leader in the preeminent
trends of the 80s, 90s, and 00s.

Expansion of the continuum of care
Development of specific venues
Case Management by venue
Murer Consultants was one of the first firms who actively
encouraged outpatient programming as a revenue and growth opportunity. Comprehensive
Outpatient Rehabilitation Facilities (CORF), inpatient units and specialty hospitals
have been care venues developed and implemented in conjunction with numerous
clients. The Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) is a particular expertise
developed by Murer Consultants, Inc. An outstanding success has been its LTACH
model for not-for-profit systems.
Murer Consultants has developed and implemented the full spectrum
of the continuum of care with special emphasis on CORFs, specialty units, specialty
